Holiday Mini-Sessions Rolla, MO (Springfield and Strafford too)

Holiday mini-sessions will be held in Rolla on Saturday Oct 16th from 10am-6pm. Each session will be 30 minutes long, and availability is first come first serve.  In the event of bad weather the sessions date will be moved to the following weekend. (If you are unable to attend the following weekend, your session fee will be refunded)
Sessions will take place on my Inlaws property, north of Rolla. I will email you directions when you book.

Not in Rolla or can't make it that day? Mini-session packages are available for you too! You can book a mini-session with me, in Strafford, anytime between now and November 1st.

Maternity Photography: Springfield MO

Oh my! I'm soo happy to share these pictures with you. I have known Shelly since she was 16 and have considered her a younger sister since about the second day I knew her. She is by far one of my closest friends and I am SO happy that she is expecting her first baby in December. I was able to get together with her and her husband, Mic, for a VERY quick session while they were in town. We wanted to get just a few of her and Mic together because when we do her big session he won't be in town. So here's a peek of a few of my favorites from the day. Congrats Shelly and Mic! Can't wait to get my lens on your bundle of joy when he or she arrives!

Newborn Baby B - Photography: Springfield, MO

I had the pleasure of photographing my newest nephew last week. He was the DREAM model. He slept the whole time! It was by far the easiest session I have done :) Can't wait to snap some more of him. That's the great thing about being an aunty, I can take pictures of the cutie whenever I want :)

Newborn Baby K - Photography: Strafford, MO

I first "met" Baby K a few weeks ago when I did his mom's maternity pictures. I was eagerly awaiting his arrival and I finally got to really meet him earlier this week. He was almost 3 weeks old and was a wonderful model!

Newborn Baby A - Photography: Strafford, MO

Last week, The C's brought Baby A to her first photography session. Miss A is a fourth of July baby and was nine days old. I learned quickly that she is not a fan of sleeping! bless her poor mom and dad! None the less, we did get some great shots of her :)

Downtown - Children's Photography: Springfield, MO

This week I had a great time photography 3 adorable kids in downtown Springfield. We pounded the pavement for several blocks around the square. It was a really fun session. The kids were a dream! All three were very well behaved and really great listeners. It was the first time using my newest lens, so it was a great learning experience for me. Happy to say that I got some really great shots!!!

"Newborn" Twins - Photography: Strafford, MO

I met the twin's mom on babycenter.com before I even began my photography business. I was just looking for a mom in my area who had a newborn that I could practice on. L contacted me and said that she had newborn boy/girl twins who were in the NICU and when they got out she wanted me to do a photo shoot with them. Turns out Baby Co and Baby Ch have quite a heroic story. They were born on February 24th  at 27 weeks and spent almost 2 months in the NICU. Both were under 3 lbs at birth, and the day of the shoot, nearly 4 months old, they weighed in at 7lbs 8oz and 6lbs 15oz. I have a special place in my heart for NICU babies (and their parents), and it was truly an HONOR to photograph them and give their parents this gift. They are a blessing and I am thrilled to play just a very small role in capturing the memory of their infancy.
